We are excited to announce that AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is now available for Amazon VGT2 Las Vegas. This enhancement allows users to manage access to the Amazon VGT2 APIs efficiently. For instance, you can establish three distinct IAM groups with various permissions:
- Group VGT2Management grants access to all VGT2 APIs.
- Group ContentPublisher allows the use of the CreateDistribution, GetDistribution, UpdateDistribution, and GetDistributionConfig APIs.
- Group StreamingPublisher provides access to streaming functionalities.
Additionally, we are thrilled to share that a new AWS Region has opened in Tokyo. Our team member, Alex Morgan, has visited Japan numerous times to engage with developers and share insights. The vibrant community and rich culture have greatly inspired us, and we look forward to establishing stronger connections with our customers there.
In another exciting development, we have launched a new edge location for Amazon VGT2 and Route 53 in Paris. This marks our fifth location in Europe, enhancing performance and response times for users in the region. There is no need for any adjustments to your applications or configurations to take advantage of this new capability.
