AWS Unveils Complimentary Digital Learning Pathway for Content Production WorkloadsMore Info

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the launch of a new free digital learning pathway: AWS for Media & Entertainment – Content Production Foundations. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of content production teams by providing essential training on cloud workflows. It represents the second educational initiative designed by AWS’s Media & Entertainment (M&E) solution experts to equip industry professionals and executives with the necessary tools to manage media workloads in the cloud.

While AWS offers numerous service-centric courses, many customers venturing into cloud computing or content production often express uncertainty about where to begin. Learners might struggle to identify which AWS services are pertinent to Content Production workflows or what configurations are essential.

This learning pathway outlines the roles, concepts, services, and considerations unique to cloud-based Content Production workflows, significantly reducing the time spent searching for relevant resources and facilitating a more efficient learning experience. Completing this foundational training enables technologists to explore more advanced and technical subjects that are crucial to their work.

“Consistently, we receive feedback from our clients that upskilling is vital for their migration and innovation strategies,” states David Hargrove, General Manager of Media & Entertainment, Games, and Sports at AWS. “In response to this need for reinvention, AWS is committed to providing educational solutions that streamline learning and enhance customer experiences. Our inaugural M&E learning pathway, Direct-to-Consumer & Broadcast Foundations, launched last year and received excellent feedback for focusing on the AWS tools that enable countless consumers to access streaming content. We are excited to see even more creatives worldwide learning how the cloud can democratize content production and bring their narratives to life.”

The AWS for Media & Entertainment – Content Production Foundations learning pathway is available on the AWS Skill Builder online learning center. It features seven thirty-minute courses, ranging from introductory topics to detailed insights on configurations and requirements for workstations, storage, and security. By dividing the content into shorter courses, learners can easily locate the information they need and bypass sections they may already be familiar with.
