We would like to inform you that as of April 1, 2021, support for AWS SDK for .NET version 1 (v1) will officially conclude. After this date, no further updates or releases will be provided, including essential bug fixes and security patches. While previously released versions will still be accessible through NuGet, the code repository on GitHub may be archived. It is important to note that you may continue to use .NET SDK v1 at your own risk after the end of support.
If you currently have applications that rely on .NET SDK v1, we strongly encourage you to transition to the latest major release – AWS SDK for .NET version 3 (v3). Be aware that v3 introduces breaking changes from v1; for a comprehensive guide on migration, please refer to our Migration Guide.
Additionally, you might want to explore the latest version of .NET SDK v3, version 3.5, which shifts support for all non-Framework versions of the SDK to .NET Standard 2.0. For further migration details, you can check out our guide titled “Migrating to version 3.5 of the AWS SDK for .NET.”
