Last week, we had an amazing experience engaging with AWS customers utilizing Ruby during AWS re:Invent! We truly value the insights and discussions we had with you.
AWS SDK for Ruby Presentation Highlights
At this year’s AWS re:Invent, I had the pleasure of guiding many of you through version 2 of the AWS SDK for Ruby. It was an honor to present to such an enthusiastic audience, and I thoroughly enjoyed connecting with many attendees both before and after the session.
During the presentation, we explored the architecture and innovative features introduced in version 2 of the AWS SDK for Ruby. Key topics included resources, pagination, and waiters. Additionally, we demonstrated a comprehensive example using Ruby on Rails. If you weren’t able to attend my talk, I highly recommend checking it out. Even if you were there, you might find it beneficial to follow along with our Rails example. You can jump directly to that section here if you wish.
The presentation also included several valuable links that you may want to explore further. We’ve gathered them for your convenience:
- AWS SDK for Ruby V2 documentation
- AWS SDK for Ruby V2 on GitHub
- “TodoApp” for Ruby on Rails
- Blog series for Rails on AWS
- Pull request for AWS CloudFormation Resources
We’re glad you’ve discovered our developer blog. Welcome!
