To address some challenges I encountered with my family, specifically the need to monitor a child’s location, I set out to create a serverless GPS tracking system. Traditional GPS tracking solutions often come with significant costs due to licensing digital maps from third-party providers and the need for continuous server operation. Many existing GPS systems are tied to proprietary devices, limiting user choice. My response was to construct my very own serverless GPS monitoring and alerting system.
