AWS Public Sector BlogMore Info

On February 9, a groundbreaking achievement took place as an uncrewed spacecraft, the Hope Probe, successfully entered orbit around Mars. This mission, spearheaded by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), marks the UAE’s inaugural venture into interplanetary exploration, making it the fifth nation to reach the red planet. The Hope Probe has already transmitted its first image of Mars, captured from an altitude of 24,700 km. This mission aims to provide comprehensive insights into the Martian atmosphere throughout various times of the day and seasons across a complete Martian year. Once the data collected by the Hope Probe arrives back on Earth, MBRSC will employ AWS’s advanced technologies to process and analyze the extensive data and imagery, enhancing the understanding of Mars’s atmospheric layers.
