By the end of 2011, Amazon S3 housed 762 billion (762,000,000,000) objects. We manage over 500,000 requests per second for these objects during peak hours. The annual growth chart illustrates year-over-year growth of 192%; S3 experienced its fastest growth last year since its inception in 2006.

New AWS Premium Support Features: Third-Party Software Support and AWS Trusted Advisor
