As part of our SDKs and Tools Maintenance Policy, we will be transitioning AWS SDK for JavaScript v2 into maintenance mode on September 8, 2024, with full end-of-support occurring on September 8, 2025. Existing applications utilizing this version will continue to operate as expected, barring any significant changes to AWS services, which are infrequent and will be communicated widely if necessary. From September 8, 2024, until the end-of-support date, the AWS SDK for JavaScript v2 will receive only critical bug fixes and security updates. It will not be updated to include support for new AWS services, features, or modifications to existing services.
