The architecture also included Amazon Kinesis Data Streams for data ingestion, facilitating the processing and storage of data streams at scale.
The AWS DMS replication instance was crucial in this migration process. By configuring multiple resources, such as replication instances and tasks, the team ensured that application data could be successfully migrated to various microservices. The use of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) simplified the deployment and management of these resources.
