We are excited to announce the release of two new AWS Quick Start Reference Deployments! As with all AWS Quick Starts, these resources are designed to streamline the deployment of complete enterprise software solutions in the AWS cloud quickly and efficiently.
Each reference deployment comes with an AWS CloudFormation template that adheres to best practices for security and availability. Users can employ these templates as they are, modify them as needed, or use them as a foundation for more complex solutions.
Trend Micro Deep Security
Trend Micro Deep Security is a host-based security solution that offers a range of capabilities, including intrusion detection and prevention, anti-malware protection, host firewall services, file and system integrity monitoring, and log inspection—all managed through a single agent running in the guest operating system.
The Quick Start for Trend Micro Deep Security on the AWS Cloud deploys version 9.5 into an Amazon VPC utilizing AMIs from the AWS Marketplace. It includes two templates: one for a complete deployment into a new VPC and another for integration within an existing VPC.
Microsoft Lync Server
Lync Server 2013 is a versatile communication platform that provides instant messaging (IM), presence, conferencing, and telephony services suitable for businesses of any size.
The Quick Start for Microsoft Lync Server 2013 on the AWS Cloud sets up an environment tailored for small to medium-sized enterprises. This setup features two Lync Server 2013 Standard Edition pools distributed across two Availability Zones to ensure high availability.
