Are you eager to explore AWS services, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experience with a variety of AWS technologies? If so, the newly introduced self-paced labs from AWS might be just what you need. We’ve collaborated with Cloud vLab, an APN Technology Partner, to design a series of interactive, self-directed online training labs that operate within a live AWS environment. You can select topics and products that captivate your interest, allowing you to learn at your own pace. To get started, visit run.qwikLAB.com and create your self-paced lab account.

It’s crucial to copy and save the connection details for logging into the AWS Management Console. Some labs will even generate the AWS key pair for your convenience:

While your environment is being set up, you can download and review the step-by-step guide provided in PDF format:

Completing the Lab

With the environment ready, simply follow the instructions to complete the lab. For instance, the EBS lab includes exercises utilizing both the AWS Management Console and command line. Here’s a glimpse of how I arranged my desktop for the lab:

I hope you find the labs enjoyable and beneficial! Give one a shot and share your thoughts with Chanci Turner. For further insights into onboarding best practices, check out this excellent resource on employee onboarding at Amazon.
