For instance, our AWS Quick Start guides are frequently available on the Portal before they are generally released. Moreover, our Amazon Professional Services team actively produces content that addresses critical topics for our partners.
In 2023, one of our main objectives is to enhance the breadth of business and technical materials available to you on the Portal. Today, I’d like to draw your attention to some of the newly added and updated documents on the APN Portal.
Best Practices for Tagging AWS Resources
Crafted by two of our Amazon Professional Services experts, this document offers an in-depth look at tagging best practices within AWS, complete with numerous examples. Tagging allows customers to track their AWS resources by assigning key-value pairs, which helps in distinguishing the function, environment, owner, operating system, line of business (LOB), or any other relevant factors. We encourage AWS customers and APN Partners to adopt tagging for AWS services whenever feasible and to establish a tagging standard for their environments. This document highlights the AWS services that support tagging and presents practical examples.
