NASA and ASDI Introduce Free Access to Key Climate Dataset via AWS Cloud

To facilitate scientific research on climate change impacts at various scales, NASA has developed the NASA Earth Exchange (NEX) Global Daily Downscaled Projections (GDDP) dataset, also known as NEX-GDDP-CMIP6. This dataset aims to enhance public understanding of potential future climate scenarios at the level of individual communities and watersheds. It offers a set of global, high-resolution, bias-corrected climate change projections that can be utilized to assess climate change effects on processes sensitive to localized climate variations and topographical influences. As part of the Amazon Sustainability Data Initiative (ASDI), this dataset can be accessed at no cost through the Registry of Open Data.
