In August 2024, we are excited to share the latest updates from AWS Training and Certification that are designed to empower you and your teams with the essential skills needed to effectively utilize AWS services and solutions. If you missed our July course update, you can find it here.

This month, we introduced 46 new digital training offerings on AWS Skill Builder, which includes 28 new digital courses, 2 new AWS Builder Labs, and an updated Learning Plan. Additionally, we have rolled out a new Classroom training specifically for executives titled “Generative AI for Executives,” along with an updated version of “Data Warehousing on AWS.” We are also pleased to announce the availability of registration and exam preparation materials for two new AWS Certifications: AWS Certified AI Practitioner and AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate.

Furthermore, we are launching the AWS Distributor Resell Capability, allowing AWS Partners and small to medium-sized businesses to conveniently bundle services and training together, fostering innovation through AWS Distributors. New Features in AWS Skill Builder Subscriptions

AWS Skill Builder subscriptions are globally available and provide enhanced training for AWS Certification exams, alongside hands-on AWS Cloud training opportunities through engaging learning experiences such as AWS Cloud Quest, AWS Industry Quest, AWS Builder Labs, and AWS Jam challenges. Certain subscription plans grant access to AWS Digital Classroom courses, offering in-depth instruction from experts.

AWS Builder Labs:

AWS Builder Labs present hands-on learning opportunities for cloud skills within the AWS Management Console. With over 200 AWS Builder Labs available, you can learn at your own pace with an Individual or Team subscription. The latest labs include:

AWS Certification Exam Preparation and Updates

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for two new AWS Certifications focused on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and generative AI. Both beta exams are available in English and Japanese, along with exam preparation materials.

AWS Certified AI Practitioner: This foundational-level certification attests to one’s understanding of AI and generative AI concepts, and the ability to recognize opportunities for AI application while using AI tools responsibly.
AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate: This certification is tailored for individuals looking to demonstrate their expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining AI and ML solutions on AWS.
