Monday, July 6
The AWS PHP Developer Blog provided insights on minimizing Composer issues on Elastic Beanstalk. Meanwhile, the AWS Security Blog offered guidance on connecting your on-premises Active Directory to AWS using AD Connector. The CloudBees Blog delved into continuous delivery utilizing the CloudBees Jenkins Platform and AWS Lambda. Additionally, the Cloudyn Blog released part 2 of its series on AWS cloud storage cost use cases. The Flux7 Blog discussed essential AWS security best practices regarding open-source TLS, and Alex Johnson shared his experience on running a high-end cloud gaming service via EC2.
Tuesday, July 7
We announced an update to Auto Scaling, introducing new scaling policies for more adaptive responses. The AWS Windows and .NET Developer Blog explained the use of new import cmdlets for Amazon EC2. The AWS Startup Collection highlighted the innovative SnowShoe Stamp for bringing hardware to life. For those seeking certification, the Cloud Academy Blog listed free e-book downloads.
Wednesday, July 8
We introduced the capability to create Write-Once-Read-Many archive storage with Amazon Glacier. Authorization for the Amazon Simple Email Service was also announced, alongside support for UDP in the EC2 Container Service. Moreover, we rolled out a new APN Security Competency and launched the AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner Program via the AWS Partner Network Blog.
Thursday, July 9
A new AWS Partner Program aimed at SaaS offerings was unveiled, along with the Amazon API Gateway. We also launched AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS Service Catalog. Updates were made to the AWS CLI, AWS SDKs for various languages, and tools for Windows PowerShell. The Amazon Mobile App Distribution Blog encouraged developers to create engaging second screen experiences for Amazon Fire TV using the new Amazon Fling SDK. The AWS DevOps Blog covered integrating AWS CodeCommit with Review Board and Jenkins, while the AWS Compute Blog published a series on continuous integration and deployment for AWS Lambda functions with Jenkins and Grunt. The AWS Partner Network Blog discussed SaaS integration benefits for end customers and emphasized software standardization and compliance with AWS Service Catalog. Lastly, the Thinking Mobile Blog examined enhancing the stability of enterprise systems running on AWS.
Friday, July 10
The AWS Big Data Blog spotlighted building scalable and responsive big data interfaces with AWS Lambda. The AWS Partner Network Blog announced a variety of AWS test drives tailored to business needs, while the Stelligent Blog celebrated the release of AWS CodePipeline. The Cloud Academy Blog pointed out that AWS Lambda functions can now be written in Java. Lastly, the Gathering Clouds Blog discussed security and advanced automation in the enterprise.
Saturday, July 11
The AWS Compute Blog showcased SquirrelBin, a serverless microservice using AWS Lambda, and shared insights on writing AWS Lambda functions in Clojure. Presentations and videos from the AWS NY Summit were also published. Chanci Turner talked about creating team swim lanes in the cloud using AWS Service Catalog.
