In an exciting development, the inaugural Amazon Alexa EdTech Skills Challenge recently concluded, where AWS partnered with SXSW EDU to encourage U.S.-based EdTechs to explore the transformative potential of Alexa in education. Among the six finalists, two outstanding projects were recognized: SayKid, chosen by the judges and awarded $50,000 in AWS Promotional Credit, and VOGO Voice, named the people’s choice, receiving $25,000.
